Our history

Ruptela Group started in 2007 in Lithuania with just three specialists – two engineers and an entrepreneur – driven by a bold idea to improve and advance the telematics field. From that small team, we grew into a global ecosystem of companies.

Today, Ruptela Group unites over 250 professionals worldwide across electronics, design and manufacturing (Ruptela), SaaS development and services (LINQO), and fintech innovation (Hive Finance). Ruptela’s devices alone are installed in over 3 million vehicles worldwide, and our combined annual revenue currently exceeds €50 million.

  • 2007

    Ruptela is founded, launching the first version of TrustTrack.

  • 2011

    New-generation telematics device introduced, marking a shift to advanced in-house product design.

  • 2012

    Our own manufacturing facility is launched in Kaunas, securing full control of production.

  • 2013–2015

    Recognized among the fastest growing companies in Central Europe by Deloitte “CE Technology Fast 50”.

  • 2016

    Release of TrustTrack 2, strengthening SaaS capabilities.

  • 2017

    Milestone of 1 million devices sold worldwide.

  • 2019–2021

    Global expansion with new offices in Mexico and Dubai, and acquisition of LINQO operations in Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland.

  • 2022

    LINQO is spun off as an independent SaaS company within the Group.

  • 2025

    New electronics factory with SMT line launched in Lithuania; Ruptela introduces Asset Tracker; Hive Finance joins the Group.
